Hey Justin, the name's Lincoln and I'm fifteen years old. I've been working out since pretty much forever (least that's what I like to say). Twenty pounds really isn't that big of a goal. My sister dropped about fifteen in a month period simply by working out and eating healthy. One of your main goals should be to eat a healthier diet if you already don't. This does NOT mean starve yourself. Try to eat leaner meats such as chicken and fish rather than fattier types - it'll do you wonders. Eat more greens. If you eat lettuce one suggestion I have for you is start buying the darker colored lettuce. It contains more minerals in it and is ultimately more healthy for you.
Fruit is astounding. I always eat an apple before working out (obviously with other food but I save the apple for last) since it contains natural sugars and will help ya out when working out.
Obviously another thing I'd suggest is looking at a gym membership. If you have no experience with weights or anything PLEASE talk to one of the trainers of the gym to teach you. If your parents have the money then consider getting private workout sessions for a month or two. It'll help you get into routines and understand which machines will help you work what and allow you to create a good workout regimen to get and keep you in good shape.
Hope this helped :).

About food information there is a lot on internet so you wont have problems with that, about physical exercise I advice jogging slowly for about 20 minutes with out stopping, plus 20 minutes walking.
But above all, you need really need to be dedicated on that.
