Unprotected sex with girl

Regretfully, I took a girl home one college lunchtime (I know it's not romantic) and we had sex. This made me worry I might have an STD, so I had tests for Chlaymidia and gonnorhea and they came back negative.

I also wanted a HIV test but the doctor said that if the others tests had come back negative, I wouldn't have HIV. Is this true because I've been worrying about it a lot?

No, thats not true in the slightest Ben. You need to get yourself checked pronto, for everything not just those two. Try going to a sexual health clinic, they may be more open to the idea of giving you these tests. As for the unprotected sex you may also want to make sure the girl had some form of birth control otherwise another problem may arise there also. Best of luck.

Like everyone else said, get yourself checked by a clinic, they tend to be more caring and concerned, most doctors now days work a tight schedule and wouldn't want to waste the time even though its the right thing to do

Thanks guys. I didn't think the advice the doctor gave was correct because you can catch any STD from having unprotected sex. The girl has also had a pregnancy test that came back negative so that was a relief on that account as well.
