I don't know how to feel...

My boyfriend of the last two years dumped me by text - and by getting his friend to call me his ex while he stood there - which is the one thing I made him promise not to do. He even did it while I was on holiday so he wouldn't have to see me for a week.
However, we weren't talking or seeing each other for about 9 months before this happened, because he was jealous of my best friend (there wasn't anything happening, I've never felt that way about him). I started getting really annoyed with him because he wasn't trusting me or my friend.
I'm really angry with him, but I can't work out whether I should be. Has this happened to anyone else? and if so how did you cope with it, and what did you feel?

Well, I'd have to say, he sounds like a jerk. Both of you made mistakes, him for not trusting you, you for not considering how he feels about your best friend. Maybe just take a break from him a while.

Thats a harsh way to do it, but if you werent talking for that long then the realationship was just pointless. Just move on, you can do better than that jerk :)
