I am reading presently is James Hornfischer's:
"The Fleet At Flood Tide" (American At Total War In The Pacific, 1944-1945).
It is the story of the World War II air, land and sea campaigns that brought the U.S. Navy to the apex of it's strength that began the rise of the U.S. Navy as a global superpower. I suggest that anyone who is a WWII buff reading this in depth book as it contains many facts about the Pacific island hopping campaigns and the persons who were major figures, both Allied and Japanese, in this conflict.

LOL! yeeeaaahhhh about that. :P
Its more than scary, its utterly shaking, but nevertheless amazing.
I've not seen it, but if you've already got prime then its worth checking out, ive heard that unlike the 89 film the story differs slightly from the book, and im not Jason Clarke's biggest fan, (not after terminator genisis) but eh.
I will add it to my King Queen list.
Ahhhh okay yea we do have Prime. I'll let you know what i think if i do give it a watch.

They certainly have taken a back seat to COVID. I wonder if there's less lawlessness, or the reports of it get buried behind the pandemic crisis.
I find it all quite exciting. This is a great time in history.

I actually read a lot, more than other kids my age. I really enjoy reading. Now I just started to read Ernest Hemingway’s novels. I’ve recently finished the entire full version of Les Miserables, in English though. It’s super long and even includes articles that’s not really a part of the story.

"Scoundrel's-In-Law" - Cait Murphy
It's ,a non-fiction book that chronicles the famous (or infamous) Manhattan law firm of Howe and Hummel, Esqs. They were the lawyers for gangsters, crooked cops, politicians and rakes who lived in the Gilded Age in New York from 1860 to 1900. It was the era in the legal profession where winning was everything, either by fair or fowl means.
