Meditations
by Marcus Aurelius
Gregory Hays's translation
Written in Greek by the only Roman emperor who was also a philosopher, without any intention of publication, the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius offer a remarkable series of challenging spiritual reflections and exercises developed as the emperor struggled to understand himself and make sense of the universe. While the Meditations were composed to provide personal consolation and encouragement, Marcus Aurelius also created one of the greatest of all works of philosophy: a timeless collection that has been consulted and admired by statesmen, thinkers and readers throughout the centuries

Which of these would you most recommend?
Depends on what you like to read, all of them except "IT" and "Great expectations" has multiple books you can read so you can continue reading
I was tempted to write an explanation of each book but I don't know if you'd want that lol.
I'd honestly recommend
Harry Potter if you haven't read it: its a series everyone should read as apart of their childhood
the Hunger games series If you want to learn about two lovers trying to survival despite being pit against each other in a cruel game
Alex riders if you want a sense of adventure in which a teenager takes upon a bunch of mission an agent would undertake
IT if you're interested in a Horror novel that shows fear being beaten by friendship
Great expectations if you're interested in reading something that is quite detailed and has a lot of meaning behind it, it has an interesting plot and gives the reader to think about.
TDLR: i'd recommend all of them

Book 2 Level 10 Boys deals with college and Book 3 Movie Boys takes place four years later after Avery has moved to LA to work in the movie industry. There are a lot of sex scenes that are super hot. A Streetcar Named Desire, play in three acts by Tennessee Williams
One of my favorite lines from the play is when Blanche DuBois describes the Desire streetcar.
"They told me to take a streetcar named Desire, transfer to one called Cemeteries, ride six blocks and get off at Elysian Fields".
Streetcars still exist in New Orleans. The oldest is called St. Charles which has been in continuous service along St. Charles Avenue for almost 200 years.
Elysian Fields is one of the longest avenues in New Orleans. He goes for several miles from the Mississippi River to Lake Pontchatrain. Desire is also a street in New Orleans which is not that far from Elysian Fields.

Hi Mason,
If you are interested in reading more books by Jon Meacham, I would suggest you look at 2 of my favorite books by him.
Andrew Jackson - The American Lion
Impeachment - An American History. (Doesn't include Trump).
I particular like reading about the bios of the presidents and how the got to be president. Of course, my favorite president is Thomas Jefferson, not only was he our best president and one of the greatest thinkers of his time, but he also was one of the architects of our democracy.

Hi Mason,
I'm glad you enjoyed reading "Impeachment". I thought it gave a great insight to the process of impeaching an American president. It illustrates what Thomas Jefferson said early in the history of our Republics that "impeachment is a most formidable weapon for the purpose of the dominate faction that was ever conceived". It should be rarely used and for good reason.
I think you will find Meachem's book on Jefferson and interesting read as well.
