Worst punishment you've ever had?

The worst punishment I ever received was my father made me walk outside and cut a branch off a tree, that would be used to deliver my swats. If the branch was too thin or too small, my father would go outside and get a branch himself. That usually meant a fresh thin branch with the bark peeled off. Basically if my father had to get a branch, you were screwed.

This actually happened several times years ago when I was totally out of control . My dad pulled down my pants and spanked me with the leather part of his belt (it hurt a lot for a few seconds) for a few minutes... Or was it seconds ? I don't really get spanked
anymore , although my mom has slapped me pretty hard for rudeness recently . I dont consider it abuse .

That happened a long time ago when my mom was a kid . My parent have never done this to me though.

Yeah, it was stupid. My father and step-mother's punishments were always illogical and stupid.. I'd get bashed if I didn't do something correctly, etc.

My routine was: Wake up, get ready for school, catch the bus to school, come home, do my homework, shower, have dinner, go to bed. Sometimes, if I was 'good' (to their standard) I was allowed to watch Television. My bedtime was 7:30 PM - regardless of whether it were a school night, weekend, or school holidays. I was not allowed to hang out with my friends after school, not allowed to have sleepovers or attend sleepovers and the like. The one sleepover I did have, my friend got sent home at 9 PM because my step-mother thought we were too loud. :/

But what was worse, was when she sent me to my Dad who would push me around and scream at me until I cried and was shaking [this was things for like changing the TV channel, or looking at him 'the wrong way'.
then he would tell me to get out of his sight and I've have to sit outside for hours until I thought it was safe to come back. That carried on until I was 18. I kept trying to run away but he'd follow me. The worst thing was he only treated me like that, and the rest of my family told me i deserved it- I asked why. They said I must be bad or he wouldnt do it.

when I turned 18 I was 5 minutes late coming out of a friends house and he locked us in the car together and started screaming at me, I packed my bag and left that night.
When I came back I told him if he ever treated me like that again him, I'd leave and they would have lost a daughter. I said I couldn't forgive him for how he'd treated me right now but I hoped I would one day.

He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder a while later.

when I was a kid I've never been punished hard, my grandmom could have given me a box on the ear or pull my hair really bad but she has always been very concerned about my grades.
she always shouts at me if I get something under "A" (in Russia for "A" stand "5" and we don't have middle grades like "A-" etc.) SO even if I get "B" she shouts like hell. Sometimes I think that I study hard only for my grades to be perfect so I won't be punished this way and not for the bright future.

Worse thing that I remember was from my old step dad. A little info on him, he abused me for years mentally and physically. But I remember once he stole my bike, beat me because it was stolen, then gave it back to me. What a dick.

Urm like many people have said i've had lots of verbal punishment from my parents which hurts a lot (mum especially) but worst would be when my mum slapped me round the face when i was like 10 when we got into an argument and it left a big red handprint, neither my father nor my friends at school believed it happened which also hurt.
Yeah not that bad but like i said my parents prefer verbal.

My friends and I forgot cleaning duty at school. The seniors made us chew on a chilli for 5 mins before swallowing. Then we had to swallow a raw egg (this was the worst part). While we were doing this they took photos of us........assholes!
