SH Awareness Video.

So I've been working on this for the past four hours... wow, has it really been that long? o___o" Anyway, I meant to make this for March 1st but I was in the hospital so I never really got the chance. I haven't done an edit in so long... you'd think I would have seeing as my mum is a television editor and it comes up in conversation everyday.

So here it is. :) And yes, it's about five minutes long and I still didn't manage to use the whole song. And this is my first HD video on my new MacBook Pro so I'm super excited that I used it to make something like this. :cool:

Yeah, iMovie has this thing where you try to give them more time and then it sits there and refuses to do it... Working on trying to figure out how to fix that. Thanks for pointing it out though!

Amazing video, Jo! I love it and I'm so proud of you! I'm sorry about that iMovie bug! D= A subtle aspect that I think was terrific was that it was slightly blurred in the beginning, but crystal clear in the end. It held true to the fact that when we're in the midst of our problems, the world is almost... blurred, for a lack of a better word and sleep deprivation. And hopefully when we get over whatever is making us suffer, we can see the world and be able to make rational decisions.

I watched your video and I started crying. It is very true, especially the picture of cutting to live. None of my friends realize that me cutting is NOT a death sentence, so they yell at me or make it worse. I, like the video suggested, need to find people that will help and not judge.

This video is really helpful, and informative, and the song is really good. I think more people should know those facts, because so many people know nothing about SH, which means they don't understand it if they find out someone does it. It was really emotional, and really good, win for the macbook, me thinks :)
