Will it scar?

I slipped off a muddy ladder today and fell against some metal that didn't cut my shirt, but it did break skin. It's not serious but it's pretty noticeable. Does anyone know how to tell if it will scar or not? (Besides waiting)

Ow :(. That might scar a little bit, yes. I've had things like that happen, but my skin is too soft and it scars so easily. So you may be different :).

Lol, I'm actually hoping it will scar. If you'd have implied the wound was too shallow to scar (it is more like a scrape than a cut) I might have scraped the scab off after it scabs over. And then cut it a little deeper/wider with a knife. I still might though, just to make for certain...

Why do you want it to scar? You shouldn't maim your body like that :(. Please don't cut yourself with a knife!

Well, I was thinking of "maiming" myself with a tribal or dragon tattoo wrappin around my side, but a scar from losing against Dracule Mihawk seemed pretty cool in my head Π_Π . Idk I was just hoping someone knew anything on the healing/scarring process since all I found via google was ways to prevent scarring…

depends how deep it was
