I have a question. i am 17 and feel i have lost a good chunk of my child hood. being a navy brat i have been to at least 8 schools during my life. not a lot i know but its strange, i read some of the forums and i realize i never had a normal child hood. Virginia was were i felt most at home (longest station 6 years) I have trouble now to even make friends having the best luck with my elders since that was the group of people i was surrounded by ( you know officers, enlisted types precision and snap straight people)

Is there anyone else that thinks this way? I am finally home... no more moving i get to put roots down after my Virginia ones were torn away. Oklahoma's friendly...but its strange after city life.

hello my name is Joseph Sans Navyson.
whats yours?
what branch did your parent(s) serve?
(if you do not feel comfortable giving out information dont answer)
Where did you spend the longest time?
Where was your favorite duty station?
Do you still have a friend from a past duty station?
how long did it take you to adjust?
