i know this is not really considered an eating disorder but when i get angry at my parents [or anyone in my house] or i just dont feel like being around them, i just lock myself in my room and not eat for like an entire day or at least until whoever i'm avoiding leaves. its weird because i used to eat like 4 meals a day...i guess i feel really fat sometimes too.
:eek::confused::P:yawn:

I unfortunately do the same thing. I feel fat always but I feel even fatter when my parents yell at me. It's like everything I do is blamed on my ugliness and my weight and I just don't want to deal with it anymore.

I know what you mean. And even thought this isn't necessarily a disorder yet, it could turn into one if you aren't careful. Please try to eat, even when it's difficult. You don't want to develop an eating disorder.

Instead of eating chips, try to eat healthy foods or safe foods (foods that won't count against you but won't necessarily count for you, such as cereal). I usually have cereal and toast for breakfast, sometimes with scrambled eggs (whites only), a sandwich and Triscuits for lunch (Triscuits are a good substitution for chips), and cereal for dinner, or maybe if I'm feeling hungrier, something like soup or ravioli. But always remember serving size.

That's just my daily plan. I've actually starting drinking V8 VFusion juice; it tastes amazing. 16oz gives you two servings of fruit and vegetables, and it has only 50 calories per 8oz. So if you aren't keen on eating fruits and vegatables as they are, you can try that.

I'm only giving you this information to maybe steer you on the right track for eating well. If you have a set plan you're more likely to stick with it. Also, eating healthier (or just cutting out a lot of fatty or sugary foods from your daily diet) can make you feel happier and healthier and it gives you more energy. If you don't eat you can feel tired, hungry (of course), unhappy and frustrated or aggressive. Try to eat at least three solid meals a day, with maybe a small snack in-between :).

I hope I don't sound too preachy! It's just I've struggled with my weight and eating all my life, and I think I've finally found a plan that works for me. Three simple meals a day can make a huge difference in mood, weight loss (or weight gain if you're underweight) and health. You just need to find an eating plan you can stick to regardless of how your parents make you feel :).
