Wow, three threads already and I've barely just joined :D.

Anyways, I think I might have a problem with eating. I've noticed that when my parents yell at me or get angry at me, I tend to not eat. A few moments ago, I made myself scrambled eggs. But my dad started yelling at me about how messy my room is (which it isn't; there was no clothing or anything on the floor) and after I got my eggs I went straight to the toilet and flushed them. I didn't even want to eat them.

I've done this several times. Whenever my parents gang up on me and yell at me and I'm in the process of making something to eat, I get rid of the food. I don't even want to look at it. I've had periods where I won't eat at all during the day and only eat at night because my parents aren't around. I hardly leave my room because I hate being around my parents; they never have anything nice to say to me.

So I ask you, is this a problem? I don't do this a lot, where I just dump food into the toilet, but I've done it enough to be worried.

Well I don't throw it up, I just lose the will to eat it, and because I know my parents will be pissed if I don't eat it, I flush it so that they don't know if I ate it or not. It's really worked out for me so far; I've done it about 30 times without consequences.

I think it could be dangerous. You probably shouldn't walk so close to the edge with something as tricky with an eating disorder. The more tendencies you have, the easier it will be for a disorder to take over your mind, in my opinion. Mind you, I'm not a professional, but that's just what I think.

You're right. The last thing I want is an eating disorder! Still, it feels so good not to eat and flushing that food down the toilet actually makes me feel like I'm flushing away potential fat. I don't know :/
