Ok, I shaved my genital area for the first time a few hours ago and it's very itchy. I followed this guys tut on yahoo answers. But I skipped a few steps like shower or bath. I also missed the part about shaving were the hair goes Down to prevent irritation or in-grown.
So I didn't shower and I shaved up on the hairs. It was super long so I thought why not, but I really do regret it now.
My question :
I shaved it completely smooth like no hair at all. Is that how I'm soppouse to? Or should I just trim??
Thanks

It will always itch the first time, but if you do it more often, then it wont itch anymore. You should definately do it while showering cause that will make the skin more soft so its easier to shave:) good luck dude

In a HOT shower, wash well....getting the area really hot to make the hair holes open...then use shaving cream or soap foam to cover the area...then shave with a NEW razor...after rinse, towel off and *IMPORTANT use after-shave to clean and dissinfect the area. and make the hair holes close again :) good luck:)

You guys HE'S ALREADY SHAVED he needs help gettin rid of the itch.
Try talcum powder, baking soda, diluted immonia (watered down), or ice. Those all will relieve the itch. Otherwise it will go away in a few days.
Next time shave in a hot shower.

The itch will stop in about a day or so.
