Love And Like to Completely Different Things and used very loosely

Like the title says do you agree these are to completely different things because I see a lot of people saying "well I have been with my gf for 2 weeks and I love her" how does somebody build love within 2 weeks...

I just feel form coming from an old fashioned family the way people use the word love is completely stupid


Love takes time to build and love is deep

People rarely ever say or write what they mean. It's called the modern English langauge.

I agree with Derri. The word "love" is thrown around like it's nothing, when it's one of the most powerful forces in the world.
I also get annoyed when people combine/mix up "love" and "lust." I bet if people took the time to learn the difference there'd be far less divorces and broken homes.
