If you both are very close you should just be strait up and ask her "Do you like me?" If she says yes then say I realy like you too or what ever works for you. Maybe shes wanting you to ask her this.

There's the weird part, when we talk to each other on facebook or something, it's like we know each other so well, no awkward moments, we can talk to each other about anything, but when we talk to each other in person it's kinda awkward for us, for me if she wants to be with me, I have a feeling it's not gonna work out well, not like this anyway, I would want to get to REALLY know her more

But the thing is that the awkward moments in person may be caused by the fact that she likes you and gets nervous. I'm a very straightforward and blunt person, so my logic in just about any situation is put all your cards on the table. So sticking with that my advice is to say to her one day, IN PERSON, when its just you and her, I really like you and was hoping you feel the same way, or something of that sort, Im not a romance novel writer.
