While I'm moving around on minecraft, I am unable to move my character with my trackpad. So I'll be going forward(holding W) but I won't be able to turn my guy to put something down. The only way I can do this is if I have a mouse connected to my laptop, but that's WAY too complicated. Any way I can fix this?

What? Moving the mouse around and clicking to interact with stuff is complicated? You pretty much need a mouse to play.

No, getting the separate mouse and getting batteries, finding the wireless connecter thing and then waiting for the driver to install is complicated. It isn't really, but I'm just lazy. BUT THAT'S NOT MY QUESTION. I want to use my TRACKPAD for the game so I don't have to get my mouse, like a desktop one...

Oh. Even so, playing with the trackpad would be more difficult and less effective than using a mouse. You should go ahead and get that wireless mouse working.

Playing any kind of game with a track pad is just stupid. The mouse often has more precision and control. For Minecraft it may not be an issue, but it would still be highly recommended. Were you playing a fast paced shooter or RTS, a track pad would be superfluous when trying to make split-second, precise actions.
Best bet is just to find your wireless mouse or go buy a cheap wired one from Walmart. Or drop $40 into a decent quality wireless mouse.
I use a laptop and wouldn't be caught dead using the track pad whether I be on Facebook or milsim shooters.

Believe me you don't want to try and play it with a trackpad, doesn't go well.
