My alternative to self harm.

Instead of cutting burning etc, i write my crushes name on my arm. It would kill me to hurt him. so this has helped stop. :) ive posted this so that maybe it will be the spark to get someone away from self harm.

I'd feel like a complete dork running around with my guys name written across my arm (Probably because of my age, and that I work...), but it doesn't hurt to simply think of how he'd react (Or, honestly, HOW he DID react) when he sees/finds out about the cutting.

That's kind of like the butterfly project, where you draw some butterflies on your arm (or wherever) and name them after people you love, and if you cut, the butterflies die. (:
