WHY!!

Why do people put others down? what do we do to make people do that? I just dont understand why no matter what i try people just put me down or hate me BUT WHY???? please help me out here

either 1. theyre cruel ppl. maybe psychopathic
2. they are insecure and they make themselves feel better by putting others down. This is actualy a lot more common than ppl think

Insecurities, you would be surprised at what ppl do to try and elevate themselves in their own and their friend's eyes. I learned this because in 10th grade i was friends with this skater, one of the "smokes pot, popular, a-hole" ones, (not real friends just "no one else i like is in this class, so may as well talk to you" friends) and he was completely cool around me, then once we were walking off campus together and this one kid, one he picked on regularly, ducked out of our path. Of course i feel like an a-hole cause i'm now associated in that kid's mind with his bully, but the skater friend turns toward the kid running away, a yells something i won't repeat at him. So then he turns around, laughing it up, and i just look at him like "Wtf man" and i will never forget the look he gave me. It was just a split second change from pride to something worse then guilt, he looked miserable. Then he changed back just as fast, scoffed at me, said "Whatever", and walked away. I haven't talked to him since then, but since then whenever i see a bully or someone else harrassing a kid, i feel incredibly sorry for them, then i punch them in the face for bullying.
