Underwear matters.

In the area I live in, years ago, these guys I hung around with were very particular about the underwear they wore. That is they actually professed they wore BOXER SHORTS and nothing else. In addition,on a lot of occasions, they would make it known that briefs were for 'wimps' or just for outcasts of some sort.

They would even ask me what underwear I wore for some strange reason. They aren't gay in any way. I suppose a contributing factor behind these questions would be curiosity but I don't understand why they would have such a negative attitude against briefs.

My question: Are there a lot of you guys out there who briefs? Is there a some stupid prejudice against briefs? I need the support. Generally I can't wear boxer shorts because they are too loose and are NEVER comfortable in the heat for me.

I had the same thing when I was younger. Boxers were if you were cool and briefs were for the others. But now that I am older everyone wears boxer-briefs it seems. So I think hating on briefs is just childish humor that they find some enjoyment in. Nothing to worry about. :)

I like briefs as well as boxer-briefs :D They're also a real turn-on but thats besides the point xP
I just don't understand why people have such an attitude about it. Underwear is underwear and people will wear what feels comfortable to them so people shouldn't feel the need to make negative comments about them. Besides what you wear doesn't say who YOU are, I mean seriously its ridiculous! XD

Every where you go there will be that mentality that briefs are for whimps, this iss not true, I wear briefs and boxerbriefs and as you get older the mentality that briefs are for whimps will slowly fade away

Same thing at my school. In 6th grade EVERYONE wore briefs. In 7th more than half of us were changing into boxers. I change now with guys on my baseball team that are 14 and 15 and nobody wears briefs there which made me glad I switched to boxers last fall.

For me I think briefs=boy and boxers=man. I have seen some boxer-briefs but I'm used to how loose boxers are and will stick with them.

I dont think you got to worry about wearing briefs. If you like wearing them just keep wearing them all wear what you feel comfortable wearing. :)

I only wear briefs. I like the containment. There's this idea that briefs are for little kids or Grandpas (haha I've heard both!) However, if you check it out you'll find that briefs and boxers always both come back around to be 'in' or whatever. So I wouldn't sweat it dude. If somebody's that interested in your underwear I'd have to say they are the ones with the 'weird' problem.

Yea that briefs are for wimps or little kids is every where I think. My brother and me are stuck with tighty whities cause my parents are kinda prudes and that's all we're allowed to have

I wear whatever is most comfortable for what I'm doing. If it's being active, briefs, but just relaxing, boxers. Kids go through stupid phases about singling others out for dumb things. Guess that's growing up :/

I prefer briefs. It is all about preference and like the others posted, what you want to wear. I've worn BB and boxers and came back to briefs (or sometimes none! :-) haha). All is good, where what you want and eventually everyone will mind their own business.

breifs guy, as are most of my friends. at the start of every year during PE someone will comment because i wear them. i don't care what they think or say and let them know i don't. the comments end pretty quickly when i don't react to them.

guys should wear whatever they feel most comfortable. for me, that's boxer shorts. i like to just hang loose most of the time. if i'm doing sports or something where i need support then i'll go and change into a jockstrap, which i think feels really nice too.

Some my friends have given me a hard time for wearing briefs most of the times but I also wear trunks alot. It shouldn't matter but it people make a big deal out of alot of stupid things. Wear what you like and feels good. In the end that's all what matters.

frankly these guys sound like losers for judging guys on their underwear and probably closet cases too, i mean how many str8 guys care about guys uw? i wear all kinds of uw and think guys should wear whatever they want.
