Why not make a healthy eatting diet plan? You can make them online or by yourself.
Right down the amount of calories/fat in your normal diet.
And try to cut it in half by replacing certain foods with healthier ones.
Normally having a "Treat day" where once a week you give into your sweet tooth.
Going for walks, maybe bump it up to speed walking or jogging after awhile, taking the stairs,or yeah taking up a sport or going to the gym might work. Idunno how old you are but in my highschool they always have a weight room, and programs to dereact you to.
Good luck : )

If you restrict what you eat, your body will be more likely to hold onto the fat you receive from your calories, as well as the fat you already have, because the restriction of calories will make your body believe it is starving. Don't force yourself to eat less!
You need to replace some of your foods with healthier options. Fast food is a no-no if you want to help yourself be healthier. And healthier is the key word, not thinner. When you become healthy, you lose weight. You can't expect to lose weight successfully or keep it off if you don't make an effort to be healthier.
Make a diet plan. I have one that I printed out and taped onto my wall, right over my desk so I look at it several times a day. Keeping yourself motivated is always important. Make sure that you list all of the foods you should eat and the foods you shouldn't eat. When you have both lists in front of you, you are more likely to choose to eat the foods on the SHOULD list as opposed to the SHOULD'NT list.
Foods you should eat can be things like egg whites (no yolks), nuts (cashews, walnuts, peanuts, etc.), fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Foods you shouldn't eat can be things such as high-fat foods (butter, cream cheese), fast foods, flavored/sugared waters or soda, and sweets such as cookies or cake. Of course, you can allow yourself to sweet treats once in awhile, but daily is not a good idea.
Exercising is also very important. Take a 30-60 minute walk every day, jump rope, ride a bike. Everything adds up and helps you reach your goal, even if it doesn't feel like it is.
I hope I helped you in some way. Good luck~!
