During a physicals I never know what should happen during the whole turn your head and cough what would happen to a healthy person and what would happen to someone with a hernia?

if the person had a hernia the doctor would feel it when u cough
thats why they hold your testicals and make u cough to feel if there are any abnoralities
nothing bad

if your a healthy person then the doc shouldn't feel anything and your all set, if the you cough and the doc feels something, then you need to schedule surgery to have it tucked back and stiched
