Losing Your Virginity

Hey Everyone,
So I've had sex with guys before, yet not had sex with any girls. I was talking to one of my friends and she said yeah you have had sex but you still haven't lost your virginity to a girl. I was pretty pissed off when she said that but didn't say anything. Do you think I'm right? or my friend?

Depends on your definition of 'virginity'.
If you view any sex as losing your virginity, then you're right.
But seeing as you haven't had sex with a girl, you technically are still a 'virgin' with them, even if you're not a virgin in general.
Does it really matter? It's just another label that you can slap on yourself.

As was said earlier, virginity is what you make of it. There are those who consider you to have lost your virginity after any sexual act and those who only say you have lost your virginity if you have had some form of intercourse. It is really up to you. There is no defining act that makes you lose your virginity.

Taken from another topic I posted in. I thought it was relevant. It really depends on your definition of "virginity". My personal opinion is that you are correct.

I agree with Chris and Thor, Virginity is just a label that you decide to use. If you haven't done anything with women, then I would say that you haven't lost your virginity with girls, but you have with guys. No big deal.

You are taking what I said out of context. The fact is, there are many different views on virginity and what it consists of, just like there are views of what is and is not sex. The point is, what matters is what the OP's views are. We can all come here and tell him our opinions are however that will leave him confused due to the differnt responses, then he has to choose who to believe and effectively he will choose what he believes. Rather than saying "You have performed a sexual act hterefore you have lost your virginity" I'd rather let him decide for himself off the start.
