Okay, I apologize if this is the wrong area to post this. I didn't know where else to post this, im sort of new here. So if it needs to be moved please do so.

So my last boyfriend and I had unprotected anal sex. I know it may sound bad but we both were clean and it felt great so we did it quite a few times. But that was like a month ago. So my question is could i have caught anything? I once read stuff about like getting parasites from unprotected anal sex, and all kinds of other suff. But I did enjoy it and wouldn't mind doing it again with other clean guys. Would that be safe? Or is it just better to always use a condom?

When in doubt, use a condom... well you should always use a condom anyways. You probably didn't catch anything because it doesn't sound like you've had anything weird happen to you lately. Just from now on, use a condom!!!

There are many STD's that you can catch from having unprotected sex with either guys or girls. First, if you both were virgin's and you know that for a true 100 % F_A_C_T then more than likely no virus was transmitted. To be 100% know your partner..use condoms 100% of the time until you both have been tested and are virus free for 6-8 months of continuous testing.Stay committed to each other (meaning sex with with only him/her) if you go outside that then think about a pyramid... you are basically having sex with everyone that person has had sex with kinda scarey to think about. Anyways, use a condom next time and feel relatively safe that no STD will be transmitted (nothing is 100% true in ensuring no STD's except not doing it).

If it's been a month and nothing feels weird, you should be fine. Plus you said you both were clean. If you're worried in the future just use a condom.

You should be fine, since you haven't had any effects from the sex, you should be fine, and since you were both virgins, no STD's could have been transmitted, but from now on use a condom.

Chances are you didn't, but it's perfectly possible - always use a condom to avoid contracting sexually transmitted infections. It's best if you go to your doctor or STD clinic just to check if you got anything, as with some STIs, more can be done if they get to it quicker.
