Honestly, neither. But if i had to choose, it would be Chevy. At least they know how to make a fast car.
And you just DO NOT put a gas v6 in a truck. Just isnt right.

Can't stand chevvy. Ford. The police here seem to agree; virtually every patrol car for use in towns is a ford!

So 0-60 in 4.4 seconds in a 35k dollar Ford Mustang GT 5.0 isn't fast for the money?? Its better then the Camaro's 4.7 seconds with a 6.1 liter! What a waste!

I belive he's talking about the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engines that Ford is putting in it's F150s. (Seeing as he did say 'truck' in his post ;) )
Even though that V6 spits out 5 more HP & 40 more Ft. Lbs of torque than the 5.0L V8.
http://www.ford-trucks.com/specs/2011/2011-ford-f-150-1.html
Not to mention that V6 gets better gas mileage than the other 3 V8 options, even while towing.

I'm not saying the V6 is worse, I'm just saying I'd prefer a V8 :P

Ford most def... Chevy uses ridiculously ancient technology... it's 2011.. time to ditch the pushrod in the LSA isn't it?
and yeah someone is going to bring up the live axle in the Mustang, but the BOSS can hang with the BMW M3 on Laguna Seca sooo that should silence any critics haha

Yeah but that's actually a good point... The Live axle rear suspension sucks ass! But your getting so much for your money! Considering the M3 costs 29k more and ONLY beats the GT but a tenth of a second around the track..

Yeah of course you JUST HAD to bring that up. I'm So sick and tired of people bringing up the Rear live axle on the Mustang. Yes the car has bad traction but honestly Idgaf. *takes of in a 2003 mustang gt* *SLIIIDE CRASH!!!* Ummm......ooops a little to much on the throttle there on that turn. Oh well at least we know it wont happen again right? *hops into another 2003 ford Mustang* *SLIIDE CRASH*......nevermind. LOL We all have to laugh at ourselves every once in a while right? ;)

I say Chevy.. I grew up with Chevrolet.
I've got a few acronyms for Ford. So yeah.
My dad has a '69 Nova SS. And we have a '86 -I think- Automatic S10 Blazer, that he lowered and everything.
My dad is a car junkie, and he only owns Chevy, GMC(It is Chevy), and Jeep. Although I have my eye on those new Challengers that Dodge makes.
It's funny how everyone is only talking about the new Camaro vs. the new Mustang..
Where does the Corvette Z06 fit into this?

Have you seen the Ford GT?
Or the Spec II LM Racecar?
I miss the GT... Too bad it didn't meet safety regulations. But then again, if you own a car that fast, why does it need to be safe? Who'd actually drive it at the recommended speed?

I haven't been a fan of what they tell us are "American made cars" however I really like the way the new Camaros look and Ford's new ecoboost engine is impressive. But keep in mind that some of the technology that makes the ecoboost so great has been in use by foreign automakers for a while. (Things like 4 valves a cylinder, variable valve timing, direct injection and turbocharging). At least they are catching up.

Ford! I own a F250 with an AMERICAN made diesel and not no POS Japan designed diesel.
My father owned a Mitsubishi L200 that he used for hooning around the mines. He tuned it up to 725nm of torque (out of a 4 cylinder) and drove it flat out around a dirty muddy mine which isn't easy on any vehicle. The car never had any issues and was a good running diesel.
He may or may not have ordered the 6.7 Powerstroke F450 Super Duty but you shouldn't misjudge the Japanese engines. He's resigned to have issues with the Ford because, lets face it their track record isn't good. But it still looks to be a good car, and in Australia it will be rare. I think respects deserved where it's due.

CHEVY all the way the 350 is the best all around v8 engine ever but the 56 gmc big block v6 has some serious numbers on the dyno so not dissin it my uncles truck got up to 150mph on a carb with stock gears and its his everyday driver

Ford has the ford Gt the Shelby supersnake which can easily beat a corvette zr1 if they both are stock
