For one, this is unimportant, but then how are you typing? Anyways my second degree is red and brown and small blisters. Yours is probably, unlike mine, late second to early third degree resulting in blood blisters, normal blisters, and flaky skin. That is a way big sunburn and you may need/want special medical cream from the doctor if it is what I think. But yeah, blood blisters and burning would explain the purple. Cancer? Well I doubt it but recovery from the burn, I wont lie, should be painful.

Well, I think if you briefly mentioned it, and couldn't help the burn showing, the employer wouldn't mind :D

It my be second degree burns and I am glad to hear your are going to see you physician. Too many people just let this go and it gets worse for them instead of better. Something I learned was to soak the body part in milk. Try soaking you. Arm in it and see if that helps at all.

Yeah, Kinda Stupid letting it happen, prevention is better then treatment. Its great that you are going to see the Doc, I would have strongly advised it. From my many experiences of treating sunburn in my experience, I would advise sponging the area with cold water for 15 Minutes every 24 Hours. It will offer a world of difference.

The Doc will have more advice, but please do not let it happen again, skin cancer cases are on the rise worldwide and it is easily preventable.
