ok so im quite annoyed with my parents cos every time i try to wank they barge in randomly. the problem is i dont know how approach them about getting a lock for my door(silly eh?) but i cant think of an excuse to get lock any suggestions?

why do it in the bathroom? and you could ask to simply knock and ask if it its ok to come in as my parents do since i was 13 noone enters my room without permission first i dont have a lock so jus ask them if they would knock first

a lock would make them suspicous of you lol

just ask them to respect your privacy by knockiing

my parents never put a lock on my door and they told me why when i asked them

for 1 if i had a fight with my parents if i stormed up to my room and locked it they could not get in to talk or anything ect ect

second if i was ill or sick duriung the night or some problem my parents could not get in essentaly they would have to kick the door down

third we have respect in our house so we respect each others privacy by knocking so its a good system

You can always tell them you would like a lock with a key. Seeing as it comes with two keys offer to give them one. That will basically give them a reason to not argue as much and simply get one. The point of this in my opinion is, if they got a key they wont freak for you asking.
Also when you have it locked, you will have time before they enter even with a key. you will hear the door, and have time to do whats needed to hide from them
