Is it normal to get a boner while taking a shower in front of other men at the gym? This happens a lot. If not, how do you get it to go away quickly without others noticing.

It happens to everyone...at sometime "bad" locations or situations that may embarrass you, however, it is normal and quickly thinking of something else will help but also as stated above relocating out of the area will help also... if need be, ya help yourself out ! Remember, it happens to EVERYONE at one time or the other and most guys wont say something because it could be them the next time.

Yeah it is a very normal thing being a teenager, and I am sure a lot of others at the gym have done it at least once. Personally I do not go to the gym, so I wouldn't know exactly know what to do in the situation, but in any other situation I would just play it off.

this is normal especially in early puberty because the erections are not from sexual feelings but they are reactive and may b random and not have to do with sexual things and also depending on who you are...just being naked around other people can be sexualy arrousing

I don't know if I would classify it as "normal" per say, however in agreement with notAprude, I don't always think that an erection is something that is sexual as well. What I mean is, going through puberty, your body is going through a lot of changes and it doesn't take much to set off an erection. And they are more random,in puberty than any other time in your life.
