TEEN GUYs: shorts?

I'm 13 straight guy and summer is here which means Im stuck on shorts for like 3 months! I'm not allowed to wear pants and my parents say shorts are above the knee. I have 3 younger brothers who have to do the same but there younger and kinda dont care like me, like i have started with like little bit of hair at the bottom of them and I'm really shy about them more,

Basically they won't let me choose untill Im 16 but I can chose my kinda style as long as for stupid reason there above knee. What is cool for teens to wear

That's unfair that they force you to wear shorts. I have really hairy legs for 14 and am very self concscious so I'd hate it. Cant you just tell them?

I have but they said 16 you can chose!:( they said the hair will disappear when I've got a good tan. I just HATE my legs

The hair won't disappear, just accept it. It's not a bad thing really, just a bit of early maturing. As for the height of your shorts, it is what it is. Wear them baggy when they're not around I guess. I don't wear shorts as such. Only basket ball shorts which are usually long.

You could always trim your legs so the hairs won't be that long. I use a comb and like a razor. Just "trim" the hairs that like pass through the comb when you run the comb up your leg by "shaving the comb" just like you shave your face.

they shouldn't force you but don't be so self conscious about the hair, im such a hypocrite. A lot of guys get jealous of other guys who have matured before them so you should show off a little.

I have told them dude. But they just say rules are rules:/ they kno I don't like my legs but say untill Im 16 I gotta live with it I guess my brothers will be 16 too

Well, you can always trim the hair. Not shave, because that's not "proper", but trim.

When I do wear shorts normally board shorts, don't be shy about leg hair, I have like very little at 16 and I hate that.

Aren't shorts usually above the knee?
Many of my friends have hair on their legs (including me) and we wear shorts and no one cares :)

When you go to buy them pull them up so they look above the knees, then pull them back down when your parents aren't there.
