A man broken in a the house of a woman aged 77. He is 53 and has a history of sexually abusing a child. After he raped her he suddenly collapsed and died of an apparent heart attack.

Rape isn't about sexual desire. It is about power and control. If anything sex is not even the most important part if it is even a factor at all, which it isn't.

I hate people who commit crimes on the elderly. It happens more and more often. Here in Australia in the news you hear elderly people being mugged, beaten up and very rarely (but disgusting all the same) being raped. Maybe it is time to amend the law to have a provision that people who commit crimes on the elderly should be punished more harshly. Under the law, there is no difference to raping a 30 year old women or a 77 year old women. You would get the same sentence (unless the jury is really pissed off at you).
