They just cancelled all the good shows, I still regret them replacing toonami an awesome channel with cn too which just sucks.
The uk version sucks more than the us though, at least they get new Ben 10 and pokemon. We get nothing decently new and hardly any new series of the good shows airing in america still.

I think if they start showing Code Lyoko again and air Season 5 of Code Lyoko : Evolution they may have a chance.

Jim Samples, president of the Cartoon Network for 13 years, resigned on February 9, 2007 due to the 2007 Boston bomb scare. And then Stuart Snyder (Jim Samples' predecessor) took over and cancelled all of the old shows and added new ones.

I really miss the good days of CN, like from 1995-2005. And I can't believe they replaced Toonami with Adult Swim!!! We miss you Cartoon Network! Please come back...

I can't stand "cartoon network"
It's full of that stupid manga comic crap and at night it's even worse.
In my opinion, the name of the channel should be switched to "drunk/demented mans joy" Why? BECAUSE I CAN'T SEE HOW ANYONE CAN ENJOY ADULT SWIM....ROBOT CHICKEN? OMG...

I must agree with you iWeed, the name "Cartoon Network" doesn't fit what they are showing on their channel at all. They really should change it.

I don't know about you, but I find Adventure Time and Chowder hilarious, though nothing else is really interesting. I know last summer, they showed Courage the Cowardly Dog err'day, and I would watch it err'day. :P I don't know if they still show that, Kids Next Door, and Edd, Ed, N' Eddy, though, like they did last year.

The Golden Age of Cartoons has been over for a while. A few good ones have sprung up now and again, but it definitely had started dying out a long time ago. We must move on and bury Cartoon Network in the media graveyard along with Disney and MTV.

Alright I've been pondering this for awhile now and just saw this thread. Yea CN pretty much sucks especially since som of the shows aren't cartoons. I repeat AREN'T CARTOONS when the channel is clearly called cartoon network. The only show that I can watch on there now is Regular Show which is freakin' hilarious. It kinda reminds me of Phineas and Ferb but much more awesome and more random put into it's plot. Phineas and Ferb is terrible by the way but my lil' bro watches it so sometimes I do as well. But Regular Show is da best period. I don't even think old cartoons can compare. I only liked toonami in the old days anyway. On Fridays Young Justice comes on and possibly the second best show on cartoon network. IMO

Do you mean anime? Manga's are books. They don't show pages of books on Cartoon Network. Uh, and the anime they play there is decent. In fact, they're playing Durarara right now, which is one of my favorite anime's.

Adventure Time and Regular Show are amazing shows. They're ten times as good when you're totally fuckin' sto... Uh, nevermind.

And I never really payed attention to the other shows. The only show I watched on CN as a kid was Courage.

I saw the first episode of Durarara and it was pretty good. And I agree with how adventure time and regular show are amazing and can be even 10x more amazing

The day I found out they played Courage the Cowardly Dog reruns everyday was the day I started watching Cartoon Network again on a daily basis. That show was a childhood obsession of mine, and apparently it transfered over into my teenage years, along with Edd, Ed, N' Eddy

As for Adventure Time and Regular Show, well there okay, and I'll watch them here and there.

It gets better by each episode. In fact, that show helped inspire me to start working on a story that I'm still working on.

I admit, I don't really watch CN anymore. Don't think the new shows are bad, they just don't seem to interest me. And when they started showing live action stuff, that was a big turn off

Cartoons aren't supposed to be realistic.

Adventure time is pretty good, Regular Show is fucking brilliant. Chowder was good in the beginning, but went downhill. Never liked Flapjack much.

I think this new reboot of Looney Toons is a massive pile of shit.

My all-time favorite has to be Ed, Edd, and Eddy. I'm not even sure why, but it was always funny at just the right times.

I missed old Cartoon network. Toonami was awesome. Remember the brain cancer causing, retarded mess of a show Out of Jim's head was? Stuff like that really made me hate cartoon network. now this past year or so it is getting better. Regular show, Adventure time, and MAD are bringing a more sarcastic, pop culture thing to the network which is pretty cool. Stlll 2005 Cartoonnetwork will always be the best.

The shows in cartoonnetwork now are horrible! Their not even so much cartoons now but bad realty shows, and have you ever noticed that almost every show has an as* in it! Whats going on with tv????

I don't understand who thought it would be a good idea to create the show
"Total Drama Island".

I really don't get it. That show has sexual innuendo all over the place and is practically teaching kids to be shallow and judgmental. I watched part of an episode and it made fun of a characters race, weight and voice all in a matter of minutes.

Old cartoons had violence and suggested themes, but they were never this blatant to where a kid might pick up on it.

i don't like it anymore either. i've stopped watching it for a long time. the same goes for nickelodeon and disney, nothing is good anymore. i do like watching the 90's nick, it's on late at night. i don't know if it's just because i'm older, or if they really did lose alot.
