What are the different types of weed.

Hi everyone, i sometimes smoke weed mainly to just fit in but thats a different story lol. I just wanted to know what are life the different types of weed basically because i have an 8ball of ak47 and skunk. Im not really an expert but alot of people say skunk is shit? does it still get you high or what? Basically im asking what is skunk? thanks :)

I don't know about skunk, but AK47 is supposed to be awesome if you've got a legit version and not some knockoff. Do some googling - there are forums dedicated to marijuana and you can always find info from people who know their stuff.
