Pubic hair - I need help!

Okay I know that pubic hair is normal but mine is seriously crazy. If i leave it alone the hairs will grow up to 3 inches long! and it covers a huge area. I have tried shaving it all off but it left SOOO many red bumps and was VERY uncomfortable. I don't know what to do! And I don't know what guys consider normal. I know that they all prefer a girl with no pubic hair, but if a girl does have pubic hair then what is acceptable to them? Because I just can't shave it all off. I'm so scared that when I take off my underwear I'm going to scare a boy away!

Dont worry about it, just keep it "Tamed" Like i do, at a time my pubic hair was well over 3inches long, I just tend to trim it here and there, keep it somewhat short. But not totally shaved off, so yea, a big bush isnt really a turn on, but im pretty sure guys wouldnt mind if you just had a fair amount, not too excessive. (Once again, dont shave it all off, that tends to be a thing porn stars do)

I understand, I used to have a ton and it got really annoying so I just shaved it off one day. At first it was very uncomfortable, red bumps and that sort of thing but I prefer to have the bumps over a ton of hair! I dont even have a reason to, Im not having sex and I dont plan to, but I think it looks gross and it is just weird to me, so I take it all off. After you have been shaving it off for a little while, it wont be as bad, it will eventually feel okay and not as irritated.

well im a guy and i trim my hair to about 1/2 an inch long... i just find it when i let myself go, it just looks bad, so i trim it... after years of experience hahaha... i find the best style to keep it long and not shaved is when u leave 3/4 inches around the base, and 1/4 inch everywhere else... hahaha but thats just me =P

And us guys dont mind a little hair... but we dont like to floss our teeth while going to third neither hahaha =D

If you mean nair, no - you dont want to do that. Nair is not designed for an area as sensitive as the pubic area. What nair basically does it dissolve the hair, and if you have sensitive skin it will burn and leave red bumps - and seeing as the pubic area is ultra sensitive, nair would not be very kind to it at all.

Hair dissolving creams/mousses etc can be used on your bikini line so you can use that to neaten the area, (make sure you follow the instructions VERY carefully). And you could just trim the rest of the hair.
Their are creams that you can use after you shave that are antiseptic, as well as ones that reduce the speed of hair regrowth. You could maybe ask at a pharmacy/drug store.
Your other option is waxing...not the most comfortable :P , but you dont get the same rash you do with shaving and it lasts for weeks, so you dont have to re-do it every few days...

But its a personal choice. Dont let anyone make you feel bad for not shaving down there, its your body not theirs!

The first time you shave it's normall like that. If you really want it shaved completely (I'm a guy, and I like shaved girls), I'd recommend be patient with how you shave. i.e. take some off one night, the next take a little more, and so on an so forth. My ex-girlfriend didn't shave, and when I finally convinced her to she ended up preferring it over letting it grow. Myself, I like to keep trimmed as well, it's a lot neater and to me a lot of hair on anyone anwhere really isn't pretty. (Except of course your head)

im a guy and i like shaved/well tended girls as well. ive shaved my pubes like 3 or 4 times and i dont like it but if u stick to it and shave over a while it gets better, thats what like research for different shit says. u could get one of those special electric trimmers that are ment for very sensitive skin so u wont get the irritation of a razor. or you could go with shaving ur bikini line and then trimming short the rest of everything. i trim my pubes short because i just dont like alot of hair down there

Honestly, I'd be a little scared. Just try to clip and trim it everyday. If you can't completely shave it off, trim it with scissors as often as needed. A little pubic hair's acceptable to most guys, but some like a lot!

If you shave down, you definetly wont be getting a good shave, might as well not shave at all. You have to shave against the hair to get as close a shave as you can, and that would be shaving up.

i personally find pubic hair on a girl attractive but i know a lot of people don't so if you are worried about it you should just trim it on a regular basis. that way you avoid the red bumps and it over growing as well.

ur absolutely right trigger. I find either shaved or non shaved attractive equally. It depends on the guy, tho you should only stay with a guy who loves your body just the way it is! Don't change to make them happy, there are alot of guys out there who couldn't care less (I hope!) cuz, like me, they just love girls, love em, no matter if they have "hair down there".


Oh, by the way, at least keep it neat and clean (thats a must; no one likes nastiness, especially on girls; tho guys gotta stay "presentable" too)

2. Use a razor with at least 3 blades, with a comfort or soap strip thingy
3. If you're gonna shave, do it constantly or else when it grows back, it feels itchy right? You don't want that. So keep it intact.

im a guy and i dont mind, but if you feel its unconfortable then cut it down to about half an inch. use scissors and be careful! (i cut my pubes too they are like 3 inches lol)
