I can't login with my laptop and this has happened before

Do you get an error message when you attempt to login? Or do your enter your information and login successfully but then get immediately logged out?

when it goes to login and it says something like welcome back and then i still see username and password :/

yes it immediately logs me out.

Have you tried clearing your cookies completely?
Doing that fixed this issue for me before.

It doesn't matter what OS you run. You clear your cookies through your browsers internal settings.
Specify which browser you're using: Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, or another and someone who uses that browser can explain how you can clear your cookies and data cache to possibly amend the login troubles you're encountering.

Tools > Internet Options > Under 'Browsing History' click 'Delete' > Make sure 'Cookies' is checked (If you don't want to delete other things, uncheck those boxes) > Then click 'Delete'
It will then do it's thing.

Note: When you delete your cookies, all of your auto-login data for all of your sites will be gone. So if you auto login to say Facebook, or your email, you will need to manually log in again after you delete the cookies.
