I have this excess fat around my waist which I'm trying to get rid of. I'm trying to become firm on my overall torso. I do push-ups and these difficult stretches as well as doing the treadmill for 30 mins straight (speed is up to 4.5 due to a healing wound on my leg).

Does anyone have any techniques to get rid of love-handles and to just become more firm after losing weight/baby-fat???

Information if required: 16 years old & 5 ft. 9/10 in & 69.7 Kilograms.

Ideas appreciated!
Thank you!

It isn't possible to burn fat at specific parts of your body. You can target muscle growth, but not fat loss. You'll have to do general cardio workouts (running, cycling) to burn all of the fat in your body to lose it in a specific area.

Don't overdo it though, your body is still developing and love handles aren't always bad things ;)

You want a routine. Maybe join a cross country club at school to get your stamina up then go for evening runs or cycles in a routine. Just keep building up your stamina by increasing distance and speed - running and cycling are both really easy sports to get into, and you'll find that once you've got the muscles required for cycling working, it's a really great cardiovascular exercise. Just do what feels best for you, and make sure you take days of rest to let your muscles grow.

Well I work out everyday and a routine workout regimen is important. However the key to this is to not do the same workout all the time. You need to use Muscle confusion. In other words vary your routine, switch it up. And if you really want to get rid of that trouble love handle, I strongly encourage you to use the medicine ball. Here is what you do.
Lay on your back
Put the ball (10lbs will be good) in between your knees.
Bring your knees to your chest, with the ball, hold for 3 seconds and release, try to get to 3 sets of at least 10.
U can also vary this workout, by lifting your torso up towards your knees, and then hold for a count of 3.
If you do this correctly, the love handles will be a thing of the [email protected]
If you would like to discuss this in more detail, just I/M me. I will be happy to help you.
