I am a vegetarian, and have been for 13 years since I was around 2 years old. In fact, I don't remember what meat tastes like and its been so long since that point, I'm afraid to even touch it, let alone eat it. An interesting phobia has developed around me. So my question is, what does meat taste like?

What type of meat?
Pork, the way I describe it, is very fatty tasting. I don't like pork all that much. Not like an oily fat, more like lard.
Beef is very juicy and has a full flavor, depending on the cut and how it's cooked can make it either taste bloody (Not like a blood packet) or a rich, melt in your mouth, flavor.
A little fatty, but nowhere near as fatty as pork.
Chicken is, well, chicken. I can't really describe it. You really have to do something with it. Grill, fry, bake, whatever, chicken tastes very different by how you make it. Breast meat is very different from wing or leg meat. Legs are fatty tasting, which I don't like, but breast meat is juicy and tender.
Though this is how it tastes to me, I'm not a big meat eater, so it may taste different to everybody else. You really won't know until you taste it.

Meat is a very unique flavour that is difficult to describe. Try eating Quorn as it's vegetarian and very close. By the way, Ryan, I haven't seen you around in ages!

Pretty much it right here ^
Meat as donkey said is a very unique kind.
You forgot fish btw ^^.
Fish is a very odd meat,as it's not really a fatty taste to it,a lot of times, well baked,it can be a little dry,or you could make it moist.A lot of fish seems to have a tart taste to it.

Meat(mostly goat, sheep and rarely cow), they way we cook it, has a sweet metallic taste.
And if it's an Arabic Sheep, it has a dry wheat taste. If it's an Australian import, it tastes like a grass a bit(which is why I like the Australian a bit more). Along with the metallic taste.
Chicken, depends on how it is cooked, but mostly tastes like a sour and sweet rubber.
Fish tastes like eh... tart, as the guy suggested.

Trying to imagine the flavour of meat is similar to trying to get a blind man to imagine what sight looks like. Nearly impossible without any concrete reference block.
Also;
This last year I have been completely inundated with shit going on, Death, destruction, the average. So in my spare time I taught myself German, Russian and Tagalog for the lulz, And I just lost interest in the oligarchy of VT. You may find me floating around Cobalt and Calcium on occasion, or CivFanatics..
..and 4chan for /b/. But don't mention 4chan, they'll kill you. That website is a shrine to immaturity. Ja, Ich bin Lebe. <3

Meat has it's own special taste, you kinda have to taste it to know what it tastes like.
