View Full Version : Slow Google Chrome?
The Madness.

My Google Chrome is usually fast, but lately it's been lagging. Really bad. I have to constantly refresh the page and nothing makes me more irritated then something I expect to be quick and ends up slow. :P I don't have any viruses, I did have some, but I had them all removed, and I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it. Nothing.
Have any of you experienced this, and know how to solve it?

I've been having the same problem, it takes my computer about 5 minutes to load one page when i first open google chrome. Even when i haven't just set up my computer it'll still take god knows how long to load. it'll just keep saying "Sending" or something in the little message in the corner.

Same for me. But maybe it's because I'm using the beta. .-.

I'm getting a lot of 'oops google chrome can't find this page' or 'this webpage cannot be displayed' and then after refreshing it does come up. I'm using beta as well but I wouldn't say it is slow though..

probably depends on your processor.
with all of these seperate proccesses, your computer has to wait a lot, thereby producing lag.
if anything is wrong, sorry. i'm tired. i'll edit this tommorrow if i can and do a little more research.
good night for now. it's 0:40 PST here.

It's weird cos I've only had this problem once. Try restarting your WiFi or search your pc to see if you've downloaded anything dodgy. Check Drive C and D to see if they aren't overflowing with garbage etc. That's pretty much all I know.

i think google are doing alot updates to their programs due some of the new things they could relasing in the near future so some of those update could affect users using google chrome so give it a few days and see if it any better

I got it too, they are working on it. If any of you have Google Accounts star this bug so they know it's more serious and work on it.

I've had this problem tons of times. To be honest, I'm not sure what it is (maybe it's cause my PC is so full of stuff), but I gave up on Google Chrome a while ago due to all of it's issues and glitches...
I currently use Firefox or Opera. And they both work flawlessly! Also, it seems that Google Chrome receives pop-ups and viruses almost as much as that old relic Internet Explorer ;P
