Advantages of Siblings in Puberty

I was the youngest of 2 kids, I have an older brother. Some of my friends are the oldest on their siblings so they are the first in the family to go thru puberty.

What I wanna know is, do you think it's easier going thru puberty if you have had an older brother going thru it already since you'll kinda know what to expect and what happens and also your parents have already dealt with stuff with your older brother so it's easier on them too. Some of my friend's parents I have secretly overheard them talking to my parents because they are so not ready to for a kid in puberty and don't know how to handle it.

Would you rather be the first kid in the family to go thru puberty or the last?

I honestly don't think it would make any difference, it didn't/wouldn't to me anyway. My parents don't talk about puberty and I'm not awkward so there's nothing to 'handle'.

I don't know how to answer this. I am the youngest in the family, but my only other sibling is my sister, who is 3 years older than me. We were close, but not that close. But personally, I would rather be surprised about what I find, then have someone older tell me about it. Like the first time you learn about masturbation. It is a special time for you and your body alone (the first time at least). I was later learning to masturbate, so by the time I got around to it, the climax was amazing, but I have read people on here who started before the could ejaculate, so maybe their first time wasn't as memorable. So to answer the question in a shorter way. I would rather be the first one, to learn for myself what I can and can't do. You learn enough from your friends and movies anyway :P

It was definitely easier for me. I didn't need to buy my own playboys. And neither did my little brother, who I have now passed them on to.

I'm the older bro, but my lil bro is only 1 yr younger than me so we have and are going through it together. So I guess in a way it's made it easier on the both of us.
