Pre-cum is the liquid (also known as pre-ejaculatory fluid or Cowper's fluid) that is the clear lubricating fluid that comes from a guy's cock when he is aroused. It's basic purpose is to help lubricate the penis to assist with the insertion into the female & for sexual intercourse. Although it is a small amount, you should always use protection because you can still get pregnant and contract STD's from it. Also, Pre-cum may contain sperm, so be careful, especially if you aren't using protection (a rubber).

Umm no offense but Liveoak is wrong...the purpose of pre-cum also known as pre-ejeculate, is to clear the urethra (the tube wear pee and cum comes out of) of any urine left behind so that the acidity of the urine will not kill the sperm. There is no need for the male the lubricate the penis because when a women gets aroused, the vagina lubricates itself, also known as getting wet. But many males use it as lube when masturbating
