I made the varsity baseball team and they had a team initiation of us rookies. Just wondering if you have experience an initiation and how you viewed it.

did you have to do an initiation?
do you think sports initiations are kind of a "rite of passage"?
do you think it is OK for sports teams to have initiations?
if you were initiated, did it involve:
sleep-over:
push-ups, sit-ups, etc:

have to eat/drink gross stuff:
stipped to underwear:

did you have to do an initiation? in baseball (cuz I made the varsity team)
do you think sports initiations are kind of a "rite of passage"? yes, made me feel like I was accepted and no longer a little kid
do you think it is OK for sports teams to have initiations? yes, as long as they are voluntary and don't do damage to the guys
if you were initiated, did it involve:
sleep-over: yes at one of the captains in there old barn
push-ups, sit-ups, etc: yes
blind folded: yes
have to eat/drink gross stuff: no
stipped to underwear:
nudity: yes
streaking/skinny dipping: yes had to run a mile naked
wrestling: no
tied up: yes -arms together and rope thrown over beam in barn, stretched up
body shaving: yes, I only had pubes and a little under arms
