hey man this is normal. "cracking" in our voice is common. It's a sign that your voice is changing. It happens to all of us. Enjoy your singing lessons.

Yeah. You are just in between getting your new voice, but you still have your old one. As long as it doesn't affect your singing lessons then you will be fine. Good luck!

I think youre at a good time to start voice lessons, when youre in the "transition" period. GOOD vocal excercises from your teacher will expand your voice range. This means you can sing more high notes and more low notes. Also be aware of the fact that voice in females and males usually go lower late at night and early in the morning. My voice gets lower by around 10:00 pm and in the morning it won't go to its "normal" until around noon.

i agree with coolguy1996 becuase i am a singer myself but u have to be carefully because i dont want to strain your voice dont try and change your voice let it do its thing and change by itself

When you wake up, your vocal cords are relaxed so they sound deeper. When you get excited or something they tense up and sound higher like on a guitar. If you put it looser, it sounds deeper. Just relax but don't force yourself to a deeper voice.
