okay so today my mother, sister and i were talking about summer activities. the one thing that made me so upset that came from my sister's mouth was, " i'm glad dad's gone." i mean seriously who says that? i don't even know if she's happy he's gone 'cuz sure i'm not. my life's hell because of my loss.

Maybe it's her way of coping? To pretend she prefers it this way because she can't admit to herself how much she misses him? Everybody grieves differently. When my cousin lost her dad she didn't cry at home, or grieve at home, for months. She did it all out if the house with friends, you never know maybe this is what your sister does?

I'm sorry she said that, I know it's got to be hard for you to hear, you've just got to try and ignore what she says, not let it get to you. It will get better, you'll never stop missing him but one day it'll hurt a little less :hug:
