Can you have an eating disorder in fazes?

i have always convinced my self (and everyone else) that i havent gota problem and i dont really think i do but its worth a check

im 9st but it moves from 8 and 3/4 to 9 and a 1/4 constantly
on average i have about 800/900 calories a day (not that i really count)
normally i go through fazes of eating a normal amount for a couple of months then a couple of months eating a lot less. i dont do it on purpose and i dont do it to lose weight i just dont feel like eating, i dont get hungry, and im generally not intrested in food.

is this something i should be worried about? i dont feel like it is but other people do.

Eating disorders are mainly done to lose weight more than anything. If you don't do it to lose weight and you just don't have an appetite, then it's not an eating disorder, but it is a symptom of depression. A loss of appetite and weight fluctuation can suggest something is wrong.

It's probably not anything to worry about, but it's worth keeping an eye on, because 900 calories isn't enough, you'd need just under another 1000 calories to be eating a healthy amount.

This makes me feel a lot better. I just thought seen as how everyone else said it it must be right but I didn't see it. Its been like that for as long as I can remember just people have noticed it over the last year or so. And I will be keeping my eye on it I do weigh myself every week but that's just for gym purposes.

Cheers.
