can someone pls explain whats happened and what i can do about it?
i'll explain........
my friend has depression and she takes meds for it. yesterday she emailed me about something and i replied. to cut a long story short, she took what i said TOTALLY the wrong way and today i got an email from her telling me ive lost her as a friend and she doesnt want me to contact her ever again.
im like devastated and stunned. i mean there was no reason for her to go off at me and now she wont talk to me at all.
idk what to do. i dont want to lose her and im scared (because of her depression) that she might do something stupid.
can anybody give me some advice? like do you know how long these depressed moods take before they go away?
sorry if im rambling but im really upset

I've never experience something like this. I'd say give her time to get over it. I'm sure she will and when you think it's ready. Try and talk to her. Tell her that you meant to help her out and you had no intention of hurting her or whatever she accused you of. I hope this helps in some way..

ty for your reply. ive never had anything like this happen before either and its kinda freaked me out.
ive tried talking to her (phone and email) and she just wont. and like whats worse is, idk what i did to set her off. the story behind the whole email that i sent to her was (she asked me to do something) and i replied with "ok, youre the boss" ........and that was it!!
i meant it in a joking way but shes obviously thought i meant it some other way and got the irrits with me

Oh. I see now. I have friends that get offended sometimes over what I say too. They never really ask or understand what I meant. I personally think you should do what I said. I'm no expert in this. I hope she eventually forgive you. It's hard to lose a friend that you care a lot about.

I have gotten mad at my friends before over big things and sometimes small and I thought I'd never talk to that person ever again. I'd eventually forgive them and talk to them again. So don't worry too much. She'll talk to you. Just give her time I guess.

No problem. I don't mind taking some time aside to at least contribute on helping someone fix something. I really hope she forgives you. Good luck. :D
