why don't we have a 'designated debate' forum in which you have actual 'events' such as public forum debates or lincoln-douglass?
true, we have twpr, but that's filled with other stuff.

I suggested this at one point....well, kinda....it started out as a mock trial thing and then everyone said it wouldnt work so I asked about structured debates and well, we got the same answer lol.

There is no reason to devote a new sub-forum to "structured" debates. If you want to request a diary for this purpose, that is an option. But debates in general fit into the ROTW.
