Well this is neat. I wonder how this will work. Would Minecraft really benefit being on a home console? Maybe. I think servers would greatly improve because of this.

Minecraft is amazing on computer but a lot of the servers are ridiculously laggy or disorganised. So the multiplayer on xbox should be better. But the thing that concerns me is the modding scene, mods are what make minecraft so good (in some cases) so I don't know how it would do on a console.

Well, there are alot of mods for current games using a USB flash drive. So I assume there will be a way to mod using that.
