i dont know how im supposed to feel. Relieved that i didnt die? Or dissapointed because i wanted to. I dont feel anything. :(

I felt exactly like this after I overdosed, the confusing feelings go though. Things actually got better for me after a few weeks. You just have to give it time to pass.

There's no way that you're meant to feel, everyone will be different. It's not a straight forward situation, so it's no wonder the emotions that go with it aren't straight forward either.

Yeah like Kathy said there isn't a particular way to feel, anything is ok.

I felt guilty as hell but also like i was really insignificant like here I was discussing the weather or so and so's party when I'd tried to kill myself the night before. In the end I just felt confused and lost. It gets better after a while, I was really sensitive to people talking about overdoses or just taking pills in general, but I'm not as bad now.

But it will get better Fran, but did you think about possibly getting some help? I think it could benefit you.

Thankyou Louise, But im not going to waste my summer holiday in a hospital.. talking to strangers. I will though get some help when i go to sixth. That is if i still need it.

But you know if you go now by the time you're referred and shit, it'll basically be September. Say you go after your exams so mid/end of june? Then by the time you're referred and have an appointment it'll probably be the start of August or so. If you wait until September then you are unlikely to see anyone until October, almost 5 months away. Starting sixth form is going to be at least a little stressful, maybe you want help before then? At least think about it? <3

The seven hour one was just because that was how long I was in the ER before I was deemed a danger to myself and others... I went voluntarily too. >_>
