im going to camp soon and im very worried about my body in the showers
i have very little hair and i dont want to be the only one
im 13
is it normal to be hairless except for pubes?
also im bisexual so im worried about erections
should i be worried?

dude everybody else is going to be naked also probably , you dont have to be worried about other people seeing you naked. If somebody does make fun of you becuase your more hairless, just give the usual "why are you looking then?" comeback. don't worry about hair, I am 16 and still barely have any hair. I play football and the erections will come and go, trust me everyone gets them. if you feel one coming on make the water colder and don't think about it, in fact ignore it. But you shower together? I go to sleep away camp, and we have bathrooms and showers but only one person uses them at a time so you should be ok.

Chances are they will be others there who will have little hair so they probably won't say anything about that. As for erections, everyone probably will get one at some point so you shouldn't worry too much. Maybe you will get one the first few times but after that being naked around others becomes more natural and you won't have to worry about getting hard.

Don't be scared. It's normal to not have much hair at 13, chances are there will be people that have a lot less hair than you.

And as for getting erections in the shower, don't worry about that either. If it does happen, then don't worry, it's perfectly normal. I get erections in the shower all the time when I shower with other people at the gym. Nobody seems to care.

Are you the only one who's 13 and has just pubes - NO and I am sure there are a lot of other boys there just like you. Don't be worried about erections either, they happen. If it happens and you feel awkward or someone starts pointing and laughing, you can always turn it back on them say something like "at least I am able to get one". You'll be fine at camp and most of the boys there are thinking and worrying of the same thing. I did my first time at camp and it didn't last long.

Like everyone has said it's normal to not have much hair. Some people will have less some will have more. Most people will get boners regardless so just be casual and if you don't make a big deal about it, others won't.

No matter what happens or what the other guys are like. You won't be the only one. There will be at least one other person there that has a small(er) penis, has little/no hair, is short, gets an erection etc.

i gotta call shenanigans on the poster who say not to worry about it and other guys will get them. I've taken hundreds of showers in shower rooms, no stalls, no privacy, nothing. For two years every day at school and a lot of times at a health club and I've seen ONE erection and that kid is still picked on over a year later.

I am 13, and Bi as well, Don't worry about the hair man. I am sure the other boys are worried just as you are. Be proud of your body man.
As far as the Erections go, you will get them, I am sure, however you won't be the only one with them, this is natural, just don't over react to it and all will be good.

most camps these days have separate stalls for showering
but if it is a group area, just try to go fast and think about cooking your favorite food
and if ya get an erection, realize it happens to everyone, and try to not get too embarassed

If anyone does say anything, you gotta just shrug it off and act like it's no big deal (which is true). Only if you make a big deal out of it and get defensive is anyone else likely to bug you about it, and chances are good no one would bug you about it, anyway. Lots of guys worry about this same stuff until they're comfortable enough just to not care. Have fun at camp!

Your 13 and I would think everyone else is in the same age range. Some will have more hair then you and some wont. Your still in puberty so your going to get hair other places. We sometimes get hard in the shower but it's no big deal.

Theres always a bit of joking around about less hair/erections, but guys know that shit happens so if you dont make a big deal out of it, no one else will either.

I will say however I've been showering 4 times a week with hockey for 4 years and have seen one person get an erection, and then there were some chuckles but we didnt really acknowledge it. I have always been worried about getting one but havent ever yet despite finding naked guys arousing. When you are all in there and talking and joking around you dont even think about erections or anything sexual

Don't be worried everyone hits puberty at different stages.

I'm 16 and I wouldn't consider myself as a hairy person. I don't have much body hair. As for the erections, You'll see plenty of other guys get them just go to the corner or something it's perfectly fine it's happened me numerous times. Just don't make a scene and people will respect that.

Dont worry about erections. Im bi and in my experience, when there are alot of people taking showers, its chaotic and distracting from the sexual part. Dont worry about the hair, but you could shave it, and so it would look like u purposely dont have hair, and most guys shave later in their teens so u would be ahead of the game :)
