16 and still havnt hit puberty

is this normal? my older brother was late aswell. he didnt hit untill he was 16.
but now im 16.1/2 and still not showing very many signs. im sorta scared when should i see someone about this. im just hopeing to ride this out and. i dont have armpit hair. i do have pubes just a little. and thats about it. all help is appreciated!

Well as you said you're just late, there's nothing you can really do except play the waiting game. It's also typical for this to happen to many teenagers during puberty, there's no reason to worry yourself over it! I would say that I was pretty late myself in comparison to others in my school.

Worst case scenario: you'll get ID'd for alcohol when you're 18 (or whatever local laws detail.) :P

You're probably just a late bloomer. You have hit puberty though. Since you have pubes, thats a good sign. I got my pubes before anything else, too. Just wait. Be patient.

Yeah really only thing to do is to wait, and as parlement said, you do have pubes, you already hit it... nothing wrong with being a bit late :)

There are drugs that a doctor can give you if he thinks you have a medical problem, but it just sounds like your family or at least you and your brother are late bloomers. Don't worry about it, it will hit you soon and you will be like all the other people your age.

yeah, the first thing that happened to my body was pubic hair and then I was able to produce sperm when I masturbated. Then arm pit hair, facial hair, voice, arm and leg hair and hair around my butt. Everyone is different. I had a friend who was 14 and didn't start yet. He had only a boy's body...no hair, but his penis was growing. Don't worry, you're in it, just wait and be patient!! ;)

i have started puberty, but its now stopped, or, as my doctor said, went on hiatis. apparently that's normal for some kids with autism. i have hit some of the things on time and other things won't happen until i'm older like my voice changing and penis growing most likely. so just because you haven't hit it yet doesn't mean you won't and there's probably a medical reason behind it, or, your just a late bloomer as others have mentioned.

You may be a late bloomer but it sounds like you have started since you have pubes....if you are really worried you could always see the doctor.
