hi, so I am 16 and just got my permit and I have 4 months till I can drive on my own. So, I guess you could day I am "lucky" I am getting my moms car. But the thing is that I am 6' 3" and i dont fit in the car like the seat doesn't go back far enough and I don't know what to do. both my parents are shorter and don't know what to do about the car, like I want to sell it and get some thing bigger and Better but they both are like sentimentally attached to it, it was my moms first new car. But like not only do I not fit, I hate it, it's vw passat. in fact it's dangerous me driving it because I can't even see out of the right side of the car because the seat has to go so far back you cant see on the right. so please help i don't know wat to do!!!!

YOu can explain to them that it would be a safety hazard for you to have this car due to the fact that you cannot see out of the right side.

Yeah, just explain that it is unsafe for you to drive it. I know this is probably an obvious question, but are you sure you have the seat adjusted correctly? My dad is 6'1" and he fits comfortably in his VW Passat.

I don't know what type of car it is, but to give myself more room in my car, I mounted the seat further back on the floor. I dont know whether it would work for your car, as mine had the set up to do it

yea its all the way back, I also have like longer then usual arms, and the steering wheel doesnt go up high enough. I am not sure about putting the seat on the floor though.

I have owned a few German cars and all of them that I have seen have a small tab inside the track that you can remove. This will allow the seat to move back an extra few inches. I have never had to worry bout it though because im 5,7 AND im the tallest in my family ha ha :(
