Frogs and Princes don't mix well
It's almost like a trick from hell
To kiss a frog? Absurd it'd be!
But alas you still kissed me...

From wishing wells and magic coins,
To a special frog from angel loins,
You took a chance to kiss a beast,
Then in the night, you had a feast.

These fairy tales, they teach us tales,
Of magic spells, and handsome males.
But now my sight is cleared of fog.
I kissed a prince, he's now a frog.

I see you well, your warts and all.
Don't try to jump, I'll let you fall.
A frog you are, the same as I,
But I am prince, of tongues that fly

Your promises they haunt you most,
As the magic witch who made her toast,
To lose true love is and feel the shame,
Give it up, for you're to blame

From frog to prince and prince to frog
We tell the story upon a log,
Of two worlds that mix but don't combine
I kissed a prince, but as a frog I'm fine.

I love how much of a mind tumbler I get when I read your poems.
Keep at it! ^^;;

I really like this. The rhymes aren't reaching and it has a good rhythm to it while telling a great story. This is good.
