You mean gaining root access?

That shouldn't be too difficult, provided you know the root password put on the OS by either Google or your phone company.

Yepp, Did it when i first got my droid, and then my droid 2 and have not looked back since. :)

I had a G1 (first android phone I think) and yes I rooted it.

Haven't bothered to jailbreak my iPhone though.
